satin wrap blouse:

this is actually a wrap blouse that is supposed to be flowy and tie in the front. i purchased a size too small and the wrap didn’t really wrap lol. this is my improvised look. i tied a bow in the front and wrapped the longer strings around my waist and made a bow of them in the front.

Denim jeans:

these are highwaisted pleated jeans from misguided. they were $42. They a currently my ultimate go to pant. they are fitted at the waist, loose on the legs and come back around fitting the ankle. i bought them in black too lol. i think that they give a great hour class illusion to the body no matter what your body shape. just make sure to purchase the proper waist measurements. you don’t want that being too tight.

white sneaker:

ok so everyone knows that white shoes are the best and worst. they look great but get dirty so quickly. because i live in a city where the weather constantly surprises you, i purchased a cheap pair from fashion nova for $20. i didn’t expect much out of them but they actually are very comfortable and i wear them whenever i know that i will be on my feet for a while. and they’re washer machine friendly! (at least this pair has been so far haha) whenever they start looking dirty i just throw them in the wash with some bleach and detergent and they come out fresh and new.

Belt:

i felt this belt compliments the green satin well and gave me more to work with when i wanted to add in the rest of my accessories. i got it from target for $20.

earrings:

from target (duh). they were $10.99. the circle is a black and off white marble look but tends to relflect well off whatver color it’s paired with. the oval is wood. the casual aesthetic of these went well with the belt and also gave a more casual look to the satin top.

bag:

my friend sent me this bad through instagram and i fell in love. i loved beaded bags lately. it’s from target and was just $25. it’s a thin bag so it’s not practical if you carry a lot with you but it’s great for a night or day out when you only need your id and/or credit cards. it was the perfect addition for this outfit to add a pop of new color and break up the greens and browns.

face:

for my makeup i used foundation, concealer, bronzer and highlighter on my cheekbones, mascara and some darker eyeshadow tones. i stuck to chapstick for the shine and moisture. i put my hair into a low bun to take away from creating bulk around my shoulder area due to the collar on my shirt. putting my hair back also gives attention to my earrings and allows them to play a bigger part in the look
