coat:

it’s reversible! this coat is probably one of my favorite purchases. it’s from zara for $75 during a black friday sale. i wear it with anything from athleisure to a dressy night out.

off the shoulder button down:

so i got this from Marshalls for $12.99. this shirt really only works with my body shape if it’s tucked in. I personally don’t love tucked shirts because i just hate having to constantly fix them. I’d rather just wear a body suit. buuutttt, this is a really cute top. off the shoulder is a great slimming feature. it shows off the collar bone and gives some sex appeal.

Denim jeans:

these are highwaisted pleated jeans from misguided. they were $42. They are currently my ultimate go to pant. they are fitted at the waist, loose on the legs and come back around fitting the ankle. i bought them in black too lol. i think that they give a great hour class illusion to the body no matter what your body shape. just make sure to purchase the proper waist measurements. you don’t want that being too tight.

white sneaker:

ok so everyone knows that white shoes are the best and worst. they look great but get dirty so quickly. because i live in a city where the weather constantly surprises you, i purchased a cheap pair from fashion nova for $20. i didn’t expect much out of them but they actually are very comfortable and i wear them whenever i know that i will be on my feet for a while. and they’re washer machine friendly! (at least this pair has been so far haha) whenever they start looking dirty i just throw them in the wash with some bleach and detergent and they come out fresh and new.

Belt:

this belt i used just to add a little something to the outfit and disguise where the tucked shirt meets the waistline of the jeans. i go through phases of wearing belts but when i do, they’re always for the appearence not to actually hold up my pants lol. this one is from target. it was $20 and worth it. i throw it into an outfit when i want to break up the color(s).

earrings:

these are from target (of course). they were $12.99. the circle stud is a white and yellow marble and then the rectangle is a white marble plastic. they make a fun addition while not being too extreme. they also complimented the red lipstick well.

bag:

purchases from dsw for $30.it pairs well with denim and can hold your entire life inside. You can hold it by the handle or attached the longer strap for a cross body. I wore it as cross body here because i was going to be walking for a while and just don’t like carrying things if i don’t need to.

face:

for my makeup i used foundation, concealer, bronzer on my cheekbones, light neutral color eyeshadow and mascara. i applied a red lip to add some pop and excitement. There wasn’t much color in the outfit so i like to use my makeup and accessories when i can. I kept my hair down and straightened it for a sleek look. also to balance out the bare shoulders.
