silk button down:
i purchased at my local thrift store for just $3.99. I went about two sizes up than my usual fit because I wanted it to have a loose look. for this outfit i tucked it in the back and let the front hang.
satin corset top:
this is a personal favorite of mine. I love the way it looks with denim especially. It was only $18.00 from misguided. it’s fitted but not constricting. It has a zipper in the back to get it on and best part, you don’t need to wear a bra!
Denim jeans:
I got these from Abercrombie and Fitch on sale for $25. I personally am beginning to like their clothing, jeans especially. although, I will still only shop in the sale section lol. anyways, they hold up well and look good with almost anything. they come right to my belly button so i usually style them with a shirt i can tuck in or a longer top instead of my usual crop top look.
black boots:
i love these boots! they’re steve madden. I got them on sale for $20 at DSW (great place for shoes btw) about 3 years ago and they’re still holding up. they’re have about a 2 1/2 inch block heel and a platform at the front. they’re so comfortable and are versatile. this style boot is a must have. they are the ultimate go to.
Belt:
i go through phases of wearing belts but when i do, they’re always for the appearence not to actually hold up my pants lol. this one is from target. it was $20 and worth it. i throw it into an outfit when i want to break up the color(s) or in this case, match my shoes to make everything come together.
face:
I have my makeup done but i kept it minimal. foundation, bronzer on my cheekbones, light neutral color eyeshadow and mascara. I kept a clean lip and just applied chapstick for shine and moisture. i put my hair into a sleek bun because i was most likely too lazy to style it but also because i felt it was most appropriate for a simple look. this helps direct more attention to my face, even with the minimal makeup look.
