do you ever question how there are some people you come across and you instantly have the trust to get personal but others it’s more of a process? What is that? Why is that? Zodiac signs????? Lol just kidding. Sorta. Anyways. This thought intrigues me. simply Because, what factors into that trust? It’s so instant. Like what was it about that person vs anyone else. Is it their personal energy? Were they welcoming? Did you see genuine care in their eyes? Was their smile soothing? I personally believe in people carrying a specific energy with them and putting it out subconsciously, and that’s what I go off of. I think that people carry their energy in their muscles. Therefore, their body language tells me a lot about their genuine interest and opinions which sometimes can seem opposite to what they're speaking.
I was walking down Market Street yesterday thinking that i’m much more closed off than i had thought i was in actuality but, i think that i just have a different idea of personal. Maybe you do too?
“Personal” doesn’t have to be anything specific that we all agree on as being personal. It’s things that create the truth of who we are and maybe things that make us uncomfortable. getting personal with someone is sharing that area of true self and possible discomfort but being comfortable and trusting giving it to them. That is at least how I view “personal”.
i recently find it more challenging to get personal. Personal to me isn’t telling my entire life front to back. I’m an open book. You can know the answer to whatever question that you ask.
“Getting personal” to me is literally giving someone my personal time. Being with someone who wants to be around me for the passing moments in life. It’s letting them know what makes me tick. How I act in my true comfort zone. allowing them to tag along and Listen to the way that i have debates with myself in Target and be confident in knowing that they know, that’s just me. It’s giving them genuine undivided attention and accepting it back.
Whether it’s a friendship or relationship, I'm not personal with you until this.
so, what do you consider personal?
